As in all service modules that United Infrared offers, Level I certification-at minimum-must be obtained by each student prior to attendance. The applications taught are specific to the operation of an infrared business. Your pre-class Certification education will be required prior to attendance.

The Course covers two primary business areas:

1. Locating and identifying moisture via thermal imaging and capacitance meters. This service is offering wet/dry confirmations and typically work with outside building specialists. Should forensic investigations be necessary, you will have access to our network of specialists.
2. Forensic Investigator of Commercial and Residential Buildings (attendance includes a custom spray rack ($500 value) for each full pay primary member and will be shipped to member upon completion of course.)

A "Pre-Course Training and Reference Materials" sheet will be provided prior to your arrival at the course. These materials are not required for the course but are highly recommended to help with your business. The owning or purchasing of an infrared camera prior to class will be highly recommend, but some cameras at class may be available for member use (but are not guaranteed). It is recommended in all cases that students are familiar with the operation of an IR camera prior to attendance. Some free online training is available on some of the cameras United Infrared has available. Please notify our office if you request some informational training on camera operation. A laptop is required at each of our classes. Our report templates provided for each of our training modules are created in Microsoft Word. You will need to have Microsoft Word 2007 at a minimum installed on your laptop. Some manufacturer specific report templates are provided.
